Although he displayed a one-off heroic dinner to prove himself not to be useless, I felt like he had so much more to prove to himself and his housemates. Damn, traveling all the way there and couch surfing with the boss. Yuudai prepared a pizza for Taka, who enjoyed it. The worst thing is that he almost fully expects her to get back with him.
